California State University East Bay

In the summer of 2019, the School of Engineering at Cal State East Bay hosted the first VRES Camp to promote high-school pathways to undergraduate degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education. The program was sponsored by the Broadcom Foundation and the CSUEB STEM Institute.

Mission College and Santa Clara High School District

In the summer of 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, the second VRES was hosted fully online in collaboration with Mission College and the Santa Clara High School District. The participants were provided with VR and XR home kits and engaged in the summer camp over Zoom. The program was received with outstanding positive feedback and was featured by KCBS San Francisco radio station.
